False christs,
rumors of wars, famines, pestilences, and earthquakes
will apparently be intensified as we drew near to the
end of the age. Right now the population explosion has
the world frightened and rightly so.
Famine is
the result of a population explosion and the Christ
rejecting world. And the situation is going to increase.
The old horse of famine in Revelation chapter six hasn't
appeared yet, but after the church is removed the black
horse and its rider will come forth. What we see today
the Food Shortage Crisis and the price hike is just the
beginning of sorrows.
Now as He sat on the Mount
of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying,
"Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be
the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?" And
Jesus answered and said to them: "Take heed that no one
deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, 'I
am the Christ,' and will deceive many. And you will hear
of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not
troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but
the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation,
and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines,
pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All
these are the beginning of sorrows. Matthew 24:3-8

The day will come when God will deal with
Israel as a nation once again and the Jews will turn
back to God and acknowledge Jesus as their messiah. The
church is being used by God to make Israel jealous, but
the church has not taken
the place of Israel.
At the end of the church
age, after the rapture of the church, He will once again
focus on Israel. God will still keep His unconditional
promises to Israel. "All Israel will be saved." (Rom.
11:26-29)
