It is only in Jesus Christ than you will find
true fulfillment. In talking to Him in prayer and meditating His
Word, in learning of Him, in
walking with Him, you will find the satisfaction your heart is
craving.
1 Submission
Submit to the husband’s God
given authority and leadership as her covering, with obedience (Ephesians 5:22)
Submission in what?
In everything
Not only in what she chooses
or likes (Eph 5:24)
Submit to your husband as unto the Lord (Eph 5:21; Col 3:18)
Rebellion
and hatred towards your husband is equal to
rebellion against God, who gave him the authority to be your
headship
Remain under his covering of authority by
submitting to him
Not dominate, manipulate, control, nag,
argue, criticize against his delegated God given authority
Wives, continue to love the Lord with all your heart and soul,
with all your mind and strength for it is only in Him that you will find the answer to
the cry of your heart.
2. Respect and honor the
husband (Eph 5:33)
Do to the husband good all the days of the life
(Pro 31:11-12)
Honor him by accepting his God given leadership
Use
words that honor him, not insult or depreciate him
Make his
priorities as your own priorities
Not to speak negatively about
him to family members, and friends at privately or publicly
Know this principle. A
husband simply cannot meet all of his wife's needs. Only Christ
can meet every need. That is the only way it works.
3. Godly character - behavior (1 Pt 3:1-6)
Use words that are helpful,
and without reproach, along with good behavior - Titus 2:4-5,
this is the ideal curriculum for a women's ministry.
Always
rejoice in the Lord
Think on things which are good, true and holy (Phil 4: 8)
Do not
deprive one another (1 Corinthians 7:5)
Wives are to win
their husbands simply submitting to them, not preaching to them
1 Peter 3:1 - 2.
4. Support to her husband as a help meet.
that was
God's original plan (Gen 2:18)
Uphold him in your daily prayer
Encourage him through her
actions and her words
Raise her husband's self-esteem by
delighting to spend time with him
Surround him with her love, body, emotions, mind, spirit
Fulfill
well her duties and responsibilities in the home.
Bone of my
bone, flesh of my flesh is Hebrew idiom meaning exact
counterpart (Genesis 2:23)
