For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a

Wisdom for today |
|
A quick tempered man acts foolishly, And
a man of wicked intentions is hated.
Drink water from your own
cistern, And running water from your own well.
Do not correct a scoffer, lest he hate
you; Rebuke a wise man, and he will love you.
The fear of the Lord is the
beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is
understanding.
A foolish woman is clamorous; She is
simple, and knows nothing.
The merciful man does good for his own
soul, But he who is cruel troubles his own flesh.
An excellent wife is the crown
of her husband, But she who causes shame is like rottenness in
his bones.

The Birth of Christ |
|
Mary
was actually told what she was to name the Messiah: Jesus. He
will save. The Hebrew form is Joshua (yasha), meaning Jehovah is
salvation or He is the Savior. Just as Joshua had led Israel
into the Promised Land (see Joshua 1:1, 2), so Jesus would lead
His people into eternal life.

Four essential things
for those who serve the Lord |
|
2 Kings 4:10 (NKJV)
Please,
let us make a small upper room on the wall; and let us put a
bed
for him there, and a table and a chair and a lampstand; so it
will be, whenever he comes to us, he can turn in there."
The four things a bed, a table, a chair, and a
lamp stand the
shulamite woman provided for the prophet Elisha is a picture of
the four things every one who serves the Lord needs.

heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28 (NKJV)

All these are the beginning of sorrows |
|
Famine is the result of a population
explosion and the Christ rejecting world. And the situation is
going to increase. The old horse of famine in Revelation chapter
six hasn't appeared yet, but after the church is removed the
black horse and its rider will come forth.
What we see today, the food shortage
crisis and the price hike is just the beginning of sorrows.
Matthew 24:8

The days of Noah

But as the days of
Noah were so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. Matthew
24:37(NKJV)
Christ will come in a day which will be
like the days of Noah. Noah lived before the flood. Like Noah we
are end time believers. Noah spoke of coming rain to that
generation, we the believers speaks about the coming of the Lord
to this generation.

Christ the Lamb of God
Christ
died for our sins according to the Scriptures,
1Corinthians 15:3 (NKJV)
The death of Christ on the
cross was a substitutionary death, for in a way the human mind
cannot fully comprehend, God let Christ be our substitute. The
just low of God declares that sin results in death. Some ignore
or minimize sin, but the wise man in the book of proverbs points
out that it is foolish to treat sin lightly. The God of grace
and mercy provided a Savior who died for our sin that we might
be able to receive the gift of eternal life.
Christ died
for our sins. The word "for" (huper) means for our benefit, for
our sake, in our behalf, in our place, as our substitute.
Our heavenly Father demonstrated his love for us by the
suffering that His Son endured when He was crucified for our
sins. Christ’s death on the cross was no accident, no
afterthought. It had been part of God’s plan from all eternity
in order to bring about the salvation of all who believe in Him.
